Do I need to sign up or download an app?
No. FenPay runs right in the browser and remembers who you are automatically. If you want your records on other devices too, you can sign in with Google or LINE anytime.
Do my friends need an account?
No. They just open the shared link and claim their name to start tracking — there's no registration step for anyone.
Does it handle foreign currencies?
Yes. Log each expense in the local currency and it's converted to the group's main currency at the rate when you entered it. The rate is locked in and never shifts afterwards.
What if I switch phones or clear my browser data?
If you've signed in with Google or LINE, sign in on any device to recover all your groups. If not, open the shared link again and re-claim your name — every expense stays safely in the group.
Does everything have to be split evenly?
No. Split an expense evenly across the group, include only some people, or set exact amounts or ratios per person. Whichever you pick, the shares always add up to the exact total — down to the cent.
Can I add it to my home screen?
Yes, though you never have to — everything works in the browser, with nothing held back. For quicker access, open the Account page and tap "Add to home screen" to install it as a standalone app. On iPhone, use Safari's Share button and choose "Add to Home Screen".
